Moven offers a solution for ergonomic research where most other systems stop. Moven is wireless and does not need any external equipment, except for a computer to receive the data on. Moven can be worn under normal clothing. The subject can therefore perform his normal work activities, while his motion can be seen and recorded from a distance. The researcher can thus observe the subject performing his/her tasks without interfering or entering the working area.
A major advantage of Moven over other motion capture systems is that it can be used inside or behind an object without losing data. You can capture a person while sitting in a car or standing behind a table. These situations are extremely difficult to record with systems requiring free line-of-sight.
